	CRYSTAL VIOLET
	Crystal violet is a dye that will transfer visible colour to the fatty components of sweat residue in latent prints, producing a purple image. It is effective on adhesive tape and grease or oil contaminated surfaces.

	SILVER NITRATE SPRAY
	This is a general purpose methanolic silver nitrate solution. Spray lightly and evenly, allow to dry completely in the dark for approximately two minutes. When dry, illuminate with sunlight or a silver nitrate accelerator lamp. Fingerprints should be photographed before the article background develops.

	PERMABOND SUPER GLUE
	Cyanoacrylate liquid adhesive vapour polymerises most latent fingerprints to produce a hard white durable impression of the print. This polymerisation is thought to be caused by the moisture and other components of the fingerprint deposit.
